News from Maine Marine Service

The story behind the logo:

Dave Tuck is not only an avid marine craftsman, producing unique masterpieces with care and precision; when time permits he also enjoys sailing his wooden sailboat, a 1966 42 foot wooden Ketch named "FEDELE", which means faithful in Italian. "FEDELE" was built by Pinards in Nova Scotia. Dave Tuck, his wife and 3 daughters live aboard the "FEDELE" 4-5 months out of the year, enjoying everything sailing in Maine has to offer.

The story about how the Maine Marine Service logo was conceived

The logo is a transformation of "FEDELE" to a gray scale format, using the powerful GIMP photo editor.
